Barry-Callebaut, leader in chocolate manufacturing, invited their ambassadors and pasty chefs from all over the world at Gaston Rooftop in Ghent.

As chefs are the new rock ’n roll stars, or at least the DJ’s of this time, the event was created around this title.

We had the assignment to make a Belgian inspired menu, with Belgian classics in a unique way, paired with drinks.

RUBY Chocolate

The next big thing in chocolate world was released September 2017.  After dark, milk and white chocolate, the 4th type (Ruby) chocolate was revealed to the world.

Location: The Bund in Shanghai.

Our task was to translate the key-elements of RUBY chocolate in a  food, drinks & music experience. As the chocolate is marketed on millennials, who travel the world through their phone as nomads, searching for the intense, hedonistic indulgence. We took the press (Al Jazeera, BBC, Reuters,..) and Barry Callebauts biggest clients on a journey through the world, starting in France over Libanon through China, Japan, Thailand & America back to Belgium. All countries we have visited, were actively present through food, drinks & music.

ISM17

ISM, one of the biggest sweets & chocolate fairs in Europe is a very important fair for Barry-Callebaut, to have direct contact with new & existing clients & press.

We organised a high end press menu, with their newest products and next to that, a 400 pax dinner for their biggest clients. A four course menu with drinks & music.
